Hello my true crime friends. I'm back today, later than usual, with another old true crime story that has a smaller than usual twist, but a twist non the less.
I am using a stamp from the Rabbit Hole Designs. It's called Blooming Anemone. It's not currently available, but they have other beautiful stamps.
I stamped all of the stamps in the stamp set. On 80 pound Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock.
Here is the color combinations that I used.
After they were colored, I used the coordinating dies to cut the pieces out.
For the sentiment, I used this set from MFT Stamps with it's coordinating die.

I used the Rabbit Hole Designs anti static powder tool to prep the black card stock before I stamped in in white ink and heat set white embossing powder from Brutus Monroe.
You can buy the embossing powder here:

To add a little extra something, I ink blended some light purple ink over the raised parts of the design.
And because embossing the card base wasn't enough, I decided to add a glittery frame cut with the Honey Bee Stamps Stacked Rectangles die:

I figured out how I wanted to lay out the florals and used press and seal to pick them all up at the same time. Then I added liquid glue to the back of everything and replaced the press and seal onto the carstock.
I added a piece of copy paper to the inside of the card to write on.
And here is the finished card.
Now to the crime. Our story today is from a little town in the south western part of Virginia, where a woman from Chicago shows up looking for someone important to her; her husband.. and his mistress. What happens next is a whole lot of supposition and a failed hanging.
