Hello my true crime friends. I hope you're having a great day today. I'm back with a true crime story from West Virginia.
But before the crime lets talk coloring. Today I am making an Easter card with this older stamp set from Simon Says Stamp called Mine Kind of Peeps.
I stamped the images on Bristol Vellum paper.
I wanted to try it with colored pencils. It wasn't the best with blending, but since I was planning to cover the bunnies with Stickles to get that sparkly sugar look. Here are my prismacolor pencil combos.
I stamped the bunnies around the sentiment. I had other things planned for this card front, but I mathed badly before I stamped so, those plans went out the window,
Once I had the panel colored, I trimmed it down a little.
The stamp set comes with eyes, so I added them with a stamp block.
Then I added a yellow card base
and a piece of copy paper to the inside.
Then I added the stickles to the peeps.
Here is the finished card.
Now the crime. Our story today is the beginning of a ghost story. Mamie was a well liked lady in the 1930's. Liked by a lot of men, specifically.
When she was found dead, the suspect list was long, but quickly narrowed down to two men. Once was not charged and the other was, but did he really commit the crime? Is her unsolved murder the reason she haunts 22 Mine Road still today?

Thanks for watching.
