Hello my crafty friends. I have a fun birthday card for you today using product that were chose with my spread sheet and a random number generator.
The brand was spellbinders, the product was layering dies, the technique was scene card, the color pallet was from the Sarah Renea Clark color cube box 2, the theme was birthday and the extra was enamel dots.
I chose two die sets from Spellbinders and Vicky Papaioannou. I have loved watching Vicky's channel for years. She is one of the first channels I subscribed to forever ago.
You can buy the dies here:
A scene card was the technique, and the underwater dies made that easy. I cut all the pieces and parts out of scraps of cardstock from my stash. I used colors that coordinates with the die packaging so that I knew what piece went with which fish.
I used card #280 form the Sarah Renea Clark Color Cube box 2. I was the perfect card because it was an underwater color pallet.
You can buy the color cubes here:
To add some dimension to the die cuts, I used my Hexchart from Sandy Allnock to color match my Copics to the cards stock.
You can find the Hexchart here:
I also used this stamp set from my stash for the sentiment. I don't think it's sold at MFT anymore. But this is why I keep these unconventional sentiment sets. They can be very useful with newer products. I stamped it with white pigment ink on black cardstock and heat set white embossing powder from Brutus Monroe.
You can by that here:
And I will add some clear enamel dots from Simon Says Stamp to look like bubbles in the water. I also used some enamel dots from Honey Bee Stamps for the fish eyes. I didn't want to try to find the little pieces that cut with the dies and try to dolor then black. They are too tiny.
You can find the enamel dots here:
And that is the completed card.
