Hello there. I hope you're having a great day. I'm back with another card where the design elements were chosen by my spread sheet and the random number generator. I have been enjoying making cards with this element of unknown.
The card today was made using Rachelle Anne Miller digital stamps, a stencil, colored pencils, pattern paper for the color pallet, for a birthday, using stickles for a little glitter happiness.
I have become an affiliate for Rachele Anne Miller stamps. They have graciously given me a shopping link and coupon code to share with you.

The great thing about digital stamps is that you can size them to fit the card the way you want. The image I chose today is actually a Christmas stamp, but It can be made into a winter birthday card. You can buy it here:
I added the downloaded image to a publisher document. I like using publisher because you can layer text boxes and images easily. I did make this image large enough to fit most of the front of a card. Before I began coloring I added some clouds to the background with the MFT cloud stencil.
You can buy it here:The only problem with that was that I had forgotten to clean the stencil when I used it last, and the very light Cloudy sky ink from Simon Says Stamp came out a little more purple. Oopsie.
After I printed the stamp, I trimmed it down an began coloring with my Prismacolor pencils. I used this little strip of pattern paper to choose the colors. And Pinterest to find color pencil combinations.
I used the French grey colors for the guinea pig and the bunny and a brown combination for the bear.Browns: 946, 1082, 941, 1083 French Greys, 1076, 1074, 1072, 1070, 1069, 1068
The mail box was colored with cool greys; 1067, 1065, 1063, 1061
Usually, when I use colored pencils I color in many layers. Today I decided to use the color blender to make coloring a little quicker.
I added this yellow, pink, and purple combinations for the bird, hat, scarf and ribbon.
yellow:1034, 1003, 916, 914 pink; 931, 195, 930, 929 purple; 931, 1008, 956, 1026
And this blue to add shadow to the snow; 1086. And 926 red for the mailbox flag.
When the coloring was complete, I trimmed the panel down even more with the Small Stitched Rectangle dies from Lawn Fawn. You can buy them here:
It added just a little detail around the border. Then I added it to a yellow cardstock card base.
Then I added the stickles to the ribbon, hat and scarf.
And that finished up the card. Thanks for stopping by.
